Yep Dell again.
I have nothing special with Dell if you were wondering, but I searched about Dell products this past few days. To be honest not to much info, nada, niet, nothing.
Maybe my research was not good enough but I still managed to get something out from some of my sources. I found it interesting and I decided to write something about it. Still rumours though but looks like future projects. Dell is coming in to market really strong now in mobile phones, if you check our forum later you will see some new Dell phones which are likely to come up, my friend is still working on that.
So what was I talking about ... yeah remembered.
Dell new Alienware m17x the third generation "Alienware m17x R3" (in case you were wondering R3 stands for Revision 3). The design is pretty much the same, but they might use a new special red colour for the exterior. Battery life is more likely to be improved in a 9-cell battery for longer surfing time, I would say play time but it's better to run applications, like games with your power adaptor in. Not info as I said above but the rumor has it that the 17-inch might come with some new graphics cards like Mobility Radeon HD 6000 graphic line (6870 or 6970) or the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M. Dell will also focus on HD video playback, with a SiBEAM-made chipset providing wireless HD video transfer to your TV. Apparently users will also be offered the option of a 3D display for Blu-ray movies and games that support it.
This is not all I found. Dell also wants to produce a really cool Inspiron. As you all know the actual Dell Inspiron they are showing maybe a future Dell Inspiron Duo. Dell what's to do a first in netbooks, if you take a closer look in the picture below you see what I am talking about.
All the big names in the industry have produced an laptop/notebook with a convertible design at some point, but our friend here Dell wants to be the first who does a convertible design to a netbook. Not to much information on the specification yet, but what is for sure is that the screen will be 10-inch and a September report from Engadget says the computer has a dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor and runs Windows 7 Premium. Dell said that this product will be available at the end of this year, to be honest it's a short journey till there, less the 1 month and half, the new year is coming soon. If you check the video on YouTube you might find some videos with the new Inspiron Duo (let me make your life easier link1 link2 ).
To add something to the finish, it's a good challenge brought to the IPad, at least that is what I think.
This is all I have to say about Dell this night, have a good one and seeya soon.
