The revealed specs of the Samsung Galaxy 2 (Samsung GT i9100) seem to be excellent enough for the so called successor of the Samsung Galaxy S. The details of the phone are out in the web and Eldar Murtazin, a respected Russian mobile reviewer, claims that he used and tested the upcoming product from Samsung.
The report suggests that the forthcoming device is a much more advanced one with the integration of dual-core processors. It is offering better operational speeds with the dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 design based Orion microprocessor with Mali 400GPU.
With smartphones like the i9100 gaining better processing speed, it is obviously a threat towards the netbooks and Intel can have worries for their Atom processors.
It is expected to be out with a 4.3-inch to 4.5-inch super AMOLED 2 touchscreen. The Retina-like display is likely to offer a better experience and can be tagged as the super AMOLED experience.
The company is expected to debut this smart device in the early quarter of 2011. If the guesses are not going wrong, the Samsung Galaxy 2 GT-i9100 will be seen at the Mobile World Congress in February 2011.
No further details are available about this device which seems to fascinate everyone. Stay tuned for more updates.
